Glad you like the music, too, specially as I thought you were a bit grumpy about it originally complaining you couldn't concentrate or something!! (don't blame you, mind). Who the hell's India Knight? I'm sure I should know, but since I don't, I don't know if I look like her. Obviously.
Sorry I missed you earlier, despite all efforts, and thanks for dropping in at Fridge Food, you dear thing. Promise I'll actually put something on the darn thing soon!

And Elizabeth - I feel you are a bit mean making Ian stay out all night in the cold and rain just to keep the bonfire going!!! But you are so right, it is very reassuring having someone around the place who can keep us warm and cook us food with two flints and some damp sticks.Carah Bodenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11429666157453439321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1197429752310795554.post-91339748296836386102008-11-10T21:31:00.000+00:002008-11-10T21:31:00.000+00:00Isn't it great to be married to a pyromaniac type?...Isn't it great to be married to a pyromaniac type? My bonfires would be wispy failures but Ian builds a grand fire and keeps it going till morning and gets everyone oohing and aahing with how some of it falls into the carefully constructed middle when it is really burning up.
Great blog. It's rather a lovely name (and means I can stop thinking of you as Heron, which is what I've done to date!) And I most certainly WASN'T ignoring you, far from it, I've been clicking Me and My Monkey ever since about 11 o'clock, and almost know some of the words now. I've been living on your site! The trouble is it looks on PC as if you are there in person and not out a-visiting. Still, she's obviously called Jane and you're obviously called (Cam)illa, so I may as well come out and join you!

I was trying to speak to you in the corridors of Cowarts just now, but you were obviously hiding from me. Our next door neighbour obliged this year and it was lovely - home-made toffee apples and James got to let off the fireworks under the supervision of the neighbour. By heck, I love living in town. Where we used to be you'd never have known it was bonfire night - here we were in stiff competition with the pub opposite!
Lovely to hear from you on my blog....when are we going to see you back on Purplecoo?
